Description
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team supporting a major government customer on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) Task Order.
The USACE RITS contract provides modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services support the mission needs of USACE’s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,500 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma and (2) years of experience; Bachelor’s degree and zero (0) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement Organization, performing routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Support the managerial tasks required to purchase hardware, software, critical supplies, and services related to the USACE OCIO/G-6 Program.
  • Implements and executes purchasing processes, including all necessary authorization, and reporting, consistent with supporting an Enterprise environment.
  • Supports procurement process with creating and updating Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs)/Consents to Purchase (CTPs) IAW government-provided template, completing Purchase Requisitions, ensuring equipment and services are delivered in support of schedule and quality standards, following up on purchase orders to ensure adherence to terms and conditions, and initiating actions to resolve supplier problems.
  • Ensures the use of IT systems in the procurement processes, including the task order management portal that will be used for making purchase requests.
  • Ensures requests are submitted in a timely manner, with enough time for Government (COR and TPOC) review and concurrence, and no purchases occur without Government concurrence.
