Job Description Summary
Service Stream is seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Specialist to join our high-performing team in Melbourne. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced Utilities Division, where your expertise will directly contribute to major infrastructure projects and programs across Australia.

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll support procurement activities across the full life cycle -planning, sourcing, contract award, contract execution and management. You will bring expert-level knowledge to help mitigate procurement risk, ensure compliance with internal governance and head contract requirements, and add value through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
This role works closely with project delivery and tender teams, along with other key stakeholders, to drive robust procurement outcomes and implement effective category management strategies. Occasional interstate travel and time spent on project sites may be required, helping to identify supplier networks and support major client initiatives.

Location: Colin’s Street Melbourne
Reporting Line: Head of Procurement
Key responsibilities
The role may require periods of agreed assignment on project sites, to establish procurement management for
strategic clients and critical pieces of work, as well as travel to other states to identify supplier networks and design,
create and implement procurement strategies for new opportunities.
