POSITION SUMMARY:

The Indirect Procurement Specialist Service is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for indirect goods and services that support the company’s operations. This includes vendor selection, cost analysis, contract management, and ensuring timely delivery of services in alignment with budget, quality, and compliance requirements. The role also acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize value, performance, and efficiency. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories, including professional services, facilities management, IT services, Legal, utilities, and other non-production-related spend
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers; maintain an approved vendor list.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and conduct total cost analysis.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements to secure best value for the company.
  • Draft, review, and manage service contracts to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs and take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements/MSA in the procurement system (e.g., SAP, SRM, PMM etc.)
  • Partner with internal departments (Infra, IT, HR, EHS, Finance, Operations, etc.) to define requirements and support their service needs.
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned.
