Job Description About our function Over the past 2,5 years, we have established the foundations of SMG’s procurement function, and now we are expanding our small, dynamic team to take the next steps. About our team set up SMG serves the Swiss market but operates with teams around the world. You will be based in our Serbia office. This role requires close collaboration with teams and stakeholders located in Switzerland, thus thriving in a hybrid work environment should be part of your DNA. About the position In this role, you will be a key member of our young procurement team, helping us grow from an operational to a strategic function. As part of your missions, you will : 1. Deliver sourcing initiatives with a high focus on IT categories: Manage full sourcing process, from requirements gathering and market analysis to final suppliers’ negotiations and contract signature Secure suppliers’ agreements that guarantee the best value for money, mitigate commercial risks and are in line with the business strategy 2. Turn data into valuable procurement insights: Support the annual Sourcing Planning, including consolidation of the project requests, timelines, resources as well as savings target Contribute to the development of new category strategies through in-depth spend and market data segmentation and analysis Maintain and improve procurement performance database and visual reports, crucial to Procurement’s internal visibility 3. Support cross-functional procurement initiatives: Actively contribute to SMG’s ESG goals by coordinating the annual tracking of supplier CO₂ emission Assist in future cross-functional programs e.g. training, ESG, tooling or compliance Qualifications We already know you're talented, but here are some other requirements for the role: You have a bachelor or master’s degree in business, engineering or related field You have 2-4 years’ experience in procurement, including leading sourcing initiatives You are a pro-active self-starter who thrive in a dynamic environment, capable of both following structured processes and of showing agility when required You have a strong analytical mindset and genuinely enjoy working with data, turning complex and unstructured information into clear insights Good communication and stakeholder management skills English is our official company language, you use it fluently in your daily work With our headquarters in Switzerland, German skills are a strong asset Additional Information Benefits you'll love Be a part of well established Swiss-based subsidiary in Belgrade We value work-life balance and employee happiness.
