Description

We are looking for Procurement Specialist who can join us immediately with experience with Building Material Supply (Sanitary Ware and Tiles)

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies tailored to the needs of the sanitary wares and building materials sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, innovations, and potential suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish strong and reliable vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accurate order processing.
  • Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and forecast future demand.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
  • Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement cost-control measures and negotiate better terms with suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics and supplier performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the sanitary wares or building materials industry.

  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
