As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist / Warehouse Manager to optimize procurement of a wide variety of electrical materials for our key business divisions including elevator modernization, HVAC, commercial/industrial, and utility. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Procurement Specialist /Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory management, loss prevention, inventory analysis and reporting, vendor management, compliance, and maintaining a wide variety of electrical materials in the warehouse at a successful, fast-paced electrical contracting company.
We seek an experienced professional with an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or 3-5 years of related experience. The ideal candidate possesses physical stamina, computer literacy, and is highly skilled in analytics, communication, negotiation, relationship management and problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education Level: Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Physical Stamina: The role involves lifting and moving items into and within the warehouse, so physical fitness is important.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Procurement specialists need to be effective negotiators to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using inventory management software and other computer systems. Including, MS Excel, Drop Box and Email.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers is crucial for successful procurement.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions is essential for effective procurement.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to effectively communicate with suppliers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Processes: A solid understanding of procurement principles, contract management, and relevant regulations is necessary.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Procurement specialists need to be able to identify and resolve issues that arise during the procurement process.
  • Forklift Operation: Ability to operate a forklift, along with other material handling equipment, as needed or willing to be trained to drive a forklift.
