We are seeking a Procurement Student for our Atlantic Canada District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months, starting January 2026, to work in Halifax, NS.
As a Procurement Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Good with numbers and places a large emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Helping in all aspects of the procurement process including Requests for Quotes, Purchase Orders, Price Lists, etc.
  • Maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels and reporting shortages.
  • Classifying, labeling, and warehousing all inventory for future use.
  • Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
  • Communicating with all department managers and the purchasing team on inventory levels and locations.
  • Maintaining a record of all transfers and disposal.
  • Implementing and following a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence.
  • Assisting the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases.
  • Completing physical inventory counts as required and reconciling the inventory records for a complete and accurate count.
