Position Overview Meratus Group seeks a professional Procurement Supervisor to supports the end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services. This role focuses on vendor management, contract negotiation, sourcing strategies, and process improvement to support operational needs and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, budget approvals and fulfilment of SLA target. Coordinate purchase requisition, purchase order and resolve issues such as delays, shortages or quality nonconformance. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, benchmark pricing and assess supplier capabilities. Collaborate with business units to forecast demand and optimize sourcing strategies Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks Evaluate and manage supplier performance. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing supplier contracts and service agreements. Coach, mentor, and equip team with knowledge, skills and tools necessary to work effectively, efficiently and meet performance target Evaluate the P3W (Policy, Procedure, Process, and Workflow) framework, recommend and implement changes to meet evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Experience Minimum 5-6 years in Procurement Exposure to ERP systems Experience in Shipping Company would be an advantage Core Technical Competencies Marine and engineering materials sourcing Vendor category expertise Budget control ERP and procurement system Vendor and technical evaluation Marine safety and environmental compliance Leadership & Soft Skills Strong negotiation and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting tools. Leadership and team development capabilities.
