Description
Supplier Risk & Due Diligence Support cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers undergo a robust screening process that mitigates organisational risk. Conduct compliance risk assessments and due diligence on higher-risk suppliers through research, data analysis, and investigation. Draft due diligence reports with recommended mitigation actions. * Identify and escalate attempts to bypass procurement governance or risk controls. Provide guidance to project managers and business leads on supplier screening outcomes. Support supplier audits and internal procurement audits as directed by the Team Lead or Procurement Manager. Maintain risk management and compliance tools (e.g., scorecards, monitoring trackers). Escalate emerging or actual compliance risks promptly. Maintain and update supplier master data in compliance with internal controls and audit standards. Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely vendor setup. Document processes, workflows, and standard work instructions to support P2P and due diligence activities. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable to ensure consistent and compliant processes. Handle supplier and internal stakeholder queries professionally, providing quality support. Build strong working relationships with Procurement, AP, Supplier Data, and other internal teams. Support Sustainable Procurement, Direct, and Indirect Procurement teams in meeting compliance requirements. Builds relationships through multiple stakeholder channels to provide support. Collaborate with cross-functional partners and peers to leverage knowledges, resources and to ensure consistency and share best practices. Supports Sustainable Procurement, Direct and Indirect Procurement to maintain due diligence controls. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute effectively within multi-disciplinary teams. Good analytical and organisational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks under guidance. Around 2 years' experience (or equivalent) in areas such as risk management, compliance, audits/controls, or third-party management. Competent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with ERP systems especially Oracle is an advantage. Willingness to take initiative in resolving day-to-day issues in a timely manner. Motivated and eager to learn. Developing strong time management and prioritisation skills. Able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form. Procurement qualification (or equivalent experience) desirable but not essential.
