Overview For the Supply Chain department we are looking for an Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team. The Role will be office based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire or working remotely, but some visits to the office will be required. Responsibilities Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials Managing the stock levels of the various article groups Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for racks Control hire equipment PPE ordering Indirect (Non project) orders Management of cylinders Planning transport (inbound) PARTS Arrange local transport (outbound) Total Logistic Costs reporting Back-up for SC country lead Qualifications Education, knowledge and expierence: Educated to at least A level preferred Experience with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it; You are professional, cost-conscious and commercial in your dealings. You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance and are eager to learn; You also have good communication skills, have persuasive powers, keep an overview and are stress-resistant.
Responsibilities
The assistant will be responsible for raising Project Requisition Planning (PRP) orders for materials and racks, managing stock levels, controlling hire equipment, ordering PPE, handling indirect orders, managing cylinders, and planning both inbound and outbound local transport.
