ABOUT STRIKER

Striker Australia is a Western Australian manufacturing business based in Henderson, specialising in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty mobile crushing and screening equipment for the mining and resources sector.

We are continuing to strengthen our procurement, inventory, warehousing and supply chain capability to support sustainable growth, reliable manufacturing delivery and effective working capital management.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a key leadership role responsible for procurement, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, logistics, supplier performance and supply chain reporting.

The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will improve governance, supplier management, forecasting, inventory visibility, warehouse controls and commercial discipline across the supply chain function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead procurement, purchasing, warehouse and logistics functions.
  • Develop procurement governance, approval controls, procedures and supplier priorities.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, commercial agreements, contract management and performance reviews.
  • Own inventory levels, stock availability, stock accuracy, stock turns and supply planning.
  • Maintain a rolling 24-month inventory and supply planning forecast aligned to manufacturing demand.
  • Improve warehouse layout, stock control, receipting processes, material flow and logistics performance.
  • Ensure Inventory system master data integrity supports accurate purchasing, inventory and financial performance.
  • Identify supply chain constraints and present commercially justified recommendations, budgets and implementation plans.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Procurement, purchasing, inventory or supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering or similar environments.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management and contract management capability.
  • Practical inventory planning, forecasting and warehouse control experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve procurement governance, supplier performance and inventory visibility.
  • Commercial discipline and confidence preparing business cases, resource plans and budget recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with manufacturing, projects, finance and suppliers.
  • ERP, MRP or inventory system experience preferred. CIPS or equivalent qualification highly regarded.
