Description
Create Purchase Orders (POs) referencing agreed-upon commercial and business terms, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. Process purchasing requisitions through inventory planning and procurement requisition systems. Process Change Order requests and PO confirmations. Manage overdue receipts and support PO approval processes. Identify and address transactional issues in the purchasing process, bringing up when required. Partnering and cooperation (spoken & written): collaborate with Singapore (English), India (English) process teams and Japan partners. Collaborate with procurement leadership and cross-functional business clients to improve guidelines and promote continuous process improvement. Process data request forms for creation, changes, and deletions in procurement-related databases. Minimum Higher Tertiary education in business, management or a related field. 1-3 years' experience in procurement operations and equivalent support. Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay cycle and procurement systems (SAP, Ariba). Fulfill responsibilities to help reach performance objectives, performance indicators, and progress reports Excellent communication and customer relationship skills. Analytical approach with the ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies. Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset. Detail-oriented with a passion for data storytelling. Collaborative and culturally sensitive team player. Capability to manage complex operational activities at a high standard.
