Piper Companies is seeking a Procurement Systems Business Analyst to join an industry leading private strategy and consulting firm located in Falls Church, VA. This role requires hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint procurement and inventory modules and is responsible for providing technical support to improve procurement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROCUREMENT SYSTEMS BUSINESS ANALYST INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Deltek Costpoint, specifically in procurement and inventory modules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in the government contracting industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Costpoint Materials Modules, including Product Definition, Bills of Material, and Inventory.
  • Develop and manage product definitions and Bills of Materials.
  • Track and adjust inventory levels and generate inventory status reports.
  • Update the general ledger with inventory transaction values.
  • Guide procurement teams through system upgrades and business system integrations.
  • Gather and translate user requests into clear system requirements.
  • Conduct gap analyses against ERP software solutions as needed.
