Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. The Procurement Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of procurement buyers to ensure timely and efficient sourcing activities. This role focuses on improving and stabilizing the Time to Quote (TTQ), monitoring team KPIs, resolving invoice clearance issues, and reducing the backlog of open RFQs. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Team Lead will drive performance, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and foster continuous improvement across procurement operations. We’ll look to you for:
Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement buyers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Manage workload distribution and ensure adequate coverage for procurement activities.
Compliance & Reporting
-
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures and mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness (APSYS, ICQ)
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives
Operational Excellence

- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and implement best practices based on REX
- Track and analyze procurement KPIs for Inquiry to RFQ turnaround time, Time to quote, Purchase requisition burndown, Open RFQ burndown
- Monitor and improve Time to Quote (TTQ) metrics to meet service level targets.
- Ensure drumbeat with the Procurement buyers for open/aging Inquiries and RFQs
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and supply chain on as required basis to support resolution of pending invoices
- Serve as the first point of escalation for internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure responsiveness and reliability.
- Work along with the Procurement Manager to support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance evaluations.
- Support deep dives on red KPIs along with relevant stake holders

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a lead/supervisort role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to motivate and effectively collaborate with team members
  • SAP knowledge is a must
  • Proficient in MS office tool
