THE ROLE

Are you ready to help us unlock further efficiency to help fuel our growth? At Imperial Brands, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Transformation Lead, to join our exclusive and innovative global FMCG company, supported by 25,000 dedicated employees. In this role, you will help drive our cost transformative agenda for our global indirect spend to unlock new cost and efficiency opportunities and play a pivotal role in our Fuel for Growth programme, aimed at creating investment headroom through cost reduction and efficiency.
As Procurement Transformation Lead, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders (including Group Strategy & Development, Finance, Business, and Procurement category teams) to identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives that directly impact our bottom line. Your insights will guide our procurement leadership in making strategic decisions that balance savings with quality and service.
You’ll manage day-to-day project delivery, ensuring integration and consistency across the Fuel for Growth workstream. Your work will involve problem-solving, data analysis, and close cooperation with procurement teams to achieve our strategic objectives and additionally working with external consultants to track and deliver identified opportunities – To succeed in this role, you’ll possess deep understanding of business ambitions, and the ability to leverage tools, techniques and networking to drive success and have experience of zero based budgeting/cost transformation in other complex global organisations

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Drive collaboration within the Procurement Leadership Team, category teams, senior internal stakeholders, and external consulting partners to execute the Fuel for Growth Programme.
  • Initiative Execution & Tracking: Coordinate key initiatives, ensuring regular tracking, monitoring, and reporting cycles to keep the programme on track.
  • Workstream Facilitation: Manage day-to-day operations, act as the escalation point for issues, and resolve them within Global Procurement.
  • Resource Identification & Engagement: Identify and engage stakeholders and resources to complete planned activities within the programme’s phased timeframe.
  • Data Collection & Tool Support: Support data collection and provide access to relevant tools and systems to drive informed decision-making.
  • Insight & Best Practices: Offer insights, recommendations, and lessons learned based on past experiences to guide best practices and drive success.
