SUMMARY

As a Produce Clerk (Part-time), you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the quality and presentation of our produce section. Reporting to the Dept. Manager, your core skills in communication and merchandising will help create an inviting shopping experience. Your premium skills in retail sales and customer service, along with your ability to communicate effectively, will enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, relevant skills in cleaning and organization will ensure a well-maintained and efficient work environment. Join our team and contribute to our commitment to quality and service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities for Produce Clerk

  • Replenish stock and goods on display shelves
  • Rotate products and goods according to the company’s instructions
  • Greet customers with a warm smile as they enter the store
  • Help customers navigate their way through the store
  • Create a positive and friendly environment for customers
  • Assist with the customer orders by retrieving items from the relevant sections
  • Remove expired products from the display
  • Ensure shelves are clean and neat

Qualifications for Produce Clerk

  • Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Helpful and enthusiastic
  • Excellent customer service and mannerism
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Flexible to work day, evening and weekend shifts as required
  • Able to stand and walk around
  • Able to lift and carry a max of 50 lbs

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.40 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
