We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our produce department is well-stocked, clean, and inviting for customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for fresh produce, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, demonstrating an ability to sell products effectively.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with cashiering duties is beneficial for handling transactions smoothly.
• Organizational skills are important for maintaining product displays and inventory management.
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining work areas is necessary to uphold store standards.

  Pay: $15.00-$20.15 per hour

• Assist customers with their selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
• Regularly check inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently while providing friendly service to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve departmental goals.
• Follow safety protocols when using equipment such as forklifts, if applicable, to ensure a safe shopping experience for all.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding products or services.
