Produce Specialist

Reporting to the Produce Department Manager, the Produce Specialist is responsible for cutting, packaging and stocking fruit, vegetables, candies, nuts and snacks.

• Provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
• Ensure a positive, friendly and supportive work environment
• Answer telephone calls and receive orders
• Assist in unloading deliveries and check for accuracy and freshness
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
• Create, maintain and rotate product displays
• Assist the cashiers by running cash registers when required
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness of retail and back room space
• Assist in training new team members
• Attend occasional staff meetings
• Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
• Learn closing procedures of store and act as a fill in when required
• Other assigned duties as they may arise
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
