Your New Role… The CNN International Producer I is a vital link between newsroom show teams and our correspondent teams in the field. Producer I is responsible for coordinating the technical elements of on-air segments for anchors, reporters, and guests. Your Role Accountabilities… Booking cameras for anchors, assigning and coordinating ifb’s/pl’s, relaying last minute information to field teams, and working with the international desk to make sure reporters and guests are available as scheduled. Communicating anchor introductions/questions and elements to reporters. Producer I’s may also be required to build and execute show rundowns, liaising with show teams, the international desk, and planning producers. Building compelling segments with strongest and freshest elements Qualifications & Experience… Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related discipline or equivalent in experience. 3+ years’ experience in journalism or related field Passion for international current events Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work overnights and/or weekends as needed How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
