About the role This position is responsible for responsible for contracting and event delivery of a range of Riverside Theatres projects and programs, with a key focus on client communication, artist management, production administration and ticket sales outcomes. This role will work closely with both the presents programming team and the venue hire team and support the delivery of significant projects in both Riverside Live at PHIVE and the Riverside Theatre On a daily basis you will: Build and maintain strong client relationships through accurate information, timely communication, and high‑quality service delivery. Prepare venue hire quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure all agreements meet Council policies, procurement standards, and insurance requirements. Manage all venue bookings using the central booking system as the single source of truth for confirmations, contracts, and communications. Ensure compliance with event documentation standards, including hire agreements, costings, technical briefings, marketing coordination, invoicing, and payment processes. Collaborate with the programming team and external partners to achieve program objectives, optimise venue utilisation, and support diverse commercial, artistic, and community activities. About You The successful candidate should have previous experience delivering programs or events, or comparative programming activities in the arts, cultural or related fields, with a proven track record of achieving strategic objectives. You will also bring: Certificate qualifications (minimum Cert III) in a theatre/event/production discipline or extensive and relevant experience of typically, a period of more than 5 years. Experience in working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and delivering services to a high standard to meet financial and other business performance criteria. Experience negotiating, managing and executing contracts and/or agreements, and delivery of partners contractual obligations. Experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations, handling several projects simultaneously and being able to prioritise key outcomes and deliverables Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural diversity. What’s on offer We are offering a full-time term contract for up to 31 October 2026, with an attractive remuneration from $87, 851.88 plus 12% superannuation.
