Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Product Acceptance Specialists (Level B) to join our Interiors Responsibility Center (IRCSC) Quality team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift.
You will perform quality inspections ensuring parts and assemblies meet type design, specifications, and engineering. This role will be part of a close knit team of Quality Assurance Inspectors. You will receive additional training in both the classroom and on the factory floor to be well versed in all the commodities at the Interiors Responsibility Center.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Willingness and ability to work any shift assigned
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go-no-go gages)
  • 3+ years of experience working with REDARS, IVT (or similar system/tool)
  • 1+ years experience navigating CMES (or similar system)
  • 1+ years of experience in quality assurance
  • Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures
Responsibilities
  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Verifies compliance to customer requirements
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
