JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Applications Product Analyst will act as a key contributor to the configuration and buildout of Clinical Application products including the eClinicalWorks EMR/PM and other clinical applications for ArchWell Health. This role will actively partner and support key stakeholder’s and end users across ArchWell Health’s markets. The Clinical Applications Product Analyst will gather requirements for change requests, conduct research to understand the problems or opportunities end users are presenting, investigate potential solutions to meet end-user needs while evaluating the current clinical applications functionality, and deliver solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementations of eCW and other Clinical Applications in medium to large-scale environments, have a product mindset, be a strong communicator, and demonstrate flexibility in a growing and ever-changing environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong EMR/PM and Clinical Applications subject matter expertise, technical knowledge and analytical skills, eCW preferred
  • Ability to managea wide range of projects, large and small.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to field incomingproblems from end users, and investigate and develop recommendations for solutions
  • Ability to build solutions in EMR Test environment to share with end-user and demonstrate functionality towards solving program, project and workflow requirements.
  • Demonstrated follow-through on projects and enhancements to perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Ability to communicate application functionality and solutions to colleagues of all levels
  • Ability to successfully partner with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders in reviewing requirements, specifications, testing, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives and clinical standards on projects
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity in a work-from-home environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience participating and/or leading medium to large-scale implementations within eClinicalWorks enterprise EMR/PM or other EMR (including, but not limited to both Clinical and Billing expertise, configuration build, testing, developing documentation, go-live support, optimizations) for providers and staff (front office including registration and insurance and clinical)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing eClinicalWorks or EMR requests and issues from end users by resolving them independently or in partnership with EMR support
  • eCW RCM Billing Configuration (3) years experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of implementing modules for clinical programs (Healow Insights, ACG, TCM, Care Planning, RTBC, etc.) within eCW preferred
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or EMR support technicians and respective My.eCW or EMR Case submission and tracking. Experience with testing related to upgrades, patches to EMR/PM, EXE, plugin, and companion products.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the research and development of product solutions and ongoing development of eClinicalWorks (eCW) and other clinical applications to support solutions to end-user problems or needs
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology team to set up and test integrations and interfaces connected to eCW
  • Once a new product is ready for implementation, provide initial end-user requirements and functionality to Clinical Applications Training Specialists to develop the end-user training
  • Act as core clinical applications subject matter expert for new products and solutions
  • Recommend efficient and effective configurations supporting operational workflows and outcomes
  • Participate in core clinical application upgrades and new functionality deployments, including building, testing, and devising workflows and sharing final product with Clinical Applications Training Specialists
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to provide a resolution for requests and issues from market end users
  • Work with vendor representatives for researching new modules, configurations and enhancements
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to facilitate approval process
  • Travel required (< 5%)
