Join our dynamic Data Insights & Analytics Team (DIAT) and become a crucial player in delivering cutting-edge data products that will continue to revolutionize how we operate as a business. As a Centre of Excellence, DIAT creates innovative data solutions that empower our stakeholders to achieve their business objectives and drive growth across the HelloFresh organization in Canada.
Reporting to the Manager - Data Products, you’ll work directly with the Physical Product Managers (PMs) to optimize their portfolio, which ranges from the core menu and premium offerings, all the way to sides, appetizers, and desserts. Your insights will inform strategic decision-making, elevate customer experiences, and drive the commercial performance of a constantly evolving product.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

  • Managing existing & creating new weekly reporting re: Physical Product;
  • Ensure accuracy & consistency of reporting OKRs across teams, and enable PMs to review performance against budget targets.
  • Ideating & executing project based/ad-hoc analyses;
  • Highlight learnings & trends, and provide recommendations to Product Managers for business cases, major gaps, research input, etc.
  • Owning & leading Product Post-Launch Reviews (PLRs);
  • Standardize & optimize processes, and provide stakeholder visibility into the PLR schedule.
  • Developing & maintaining data product assets;
  • Includes building Tableau dashboards, data workbooks, automations, etc.
  • All other duties, as assigned

Sound a-peeling? Here’s what we’re looking for

  • Relevant university degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, or other related field of study.
  • 2-3 years of experience in consulting, product, or data analytics
  • Ideally within a consumer packaged goods or an e-commerce environment.
  • Deep understanding of how to identify patterns & trends within data, and how to translate them into actionable insights that align with organizational objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in pulling & working with large datasets (i.e. SQL + G-Sheets) to help answer critical business questions.
  • Experience working with data visualization and presentation tools (i.e. Tableau, G-Slides, etc.) to tell the story behind the data.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (i.e. Python, Google AppScripts, etc.)
  • A Data Champion: you love finding the details in facts & statistics, and using them to prove (or disprove) a hypothesis.
  • A Product Aficionado: You know the basics of product theory (e.g. stages of the product life cycle), are familiar with P&L statements, and recognize the importance of product-market fit.
  • A Powerful Communicator: You easily distill & communicate complex data solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • A Critical Thinker: You use logic to identify, evaluate, and present alternative approaches to problems.
  • An Empathetic Collaborator: You understand the needs of others and are able to manage conflicting priorities.
  • A Curious Investigator: You always want to know the “why” and go beyond the scope of a given assignment to get your answers.
