REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in market analysis, product management, or a related role.
  • Must have prior experience and understanding of Payments within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Eligibility to work and indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product and Market Analyst to join our dynamic Product team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analysing market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to drive informed decision-making and product development strategies. This will involve working directly with customers and internal stakeholders, working with suppliers to evaluate potential technical solutions, commissioning primary research, secondary/desk research, and use of AI tools.
Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping our product offerings and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be comfortable interpreting complex data to identify opportunities for growth. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, product, engineering and sales teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives, developing actionable plans based on your findings. As a Product and Market Analyst, you will be expected to present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, helping to support our mission of delivering exceptional products that meet the needs of our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.as part of our Product Development process
  • Conduct in-depth research into potential vendors/partner options, who may be required to fulfil the delivery requirements of a product or service offering
  • Analyse customer data and work directly with customers to understand use cases and implementation pain points, then feedback to inform product development, service delivery and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and market performance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing market or solution insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement product testing and optimization strategies.
  • Become an SME on the product set and understand and support customers post-sales activities (in collaboration with Sales and Sales Engineering)
  • Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market trends regularly.
