Product and Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) Terma Office

For our Darmstadt office we are looking for a future colleague to strengthen our Quality Assurance activities. We are an international company representing world class expertise, delivering complex and high-tech projects, products and services. Terma is companywide AS9100 certified.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in an Engineering topic, preferably related to space
• Proven record of Product and Quality Assurance or similar activities
• Fluent written and spoken English
• EU citizenship

YOU SHALL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AS MANY OF THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC AREAS:

• Knowledge of ECSS standards
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 27001 standards
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps
• Experience with Python, Java, C++

As PA/QA Engineer, your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of the software product assurance plan in cooperation with the project manager, contribution to the project in regard to quality assurance aspect and following the defined quality assurance plan.
• Contributing to the verification and validation activities.
• Support software development and system engineers with techniques for continuously improvement of the code and good software practices;
• Taking active part in project initiation, reviews and corrective actions.
• Monitoring that specific customer requirements regarding quality are met.
• Reviewing documentation (procedures, working practices, project documentation) and providing feedback to help ensure consistency with the documentation library in general and with the document conventions in use.
• Contributing to the root-cause analysis activities.
• Contributing to the Risk Management activities (organizing and advising risk reviews, following up mitigation actions).
• Supporting the internal audit plan and customer audits.
