This is a specialist role for someone who brings deep technical expertise in protection relays and systems, a passion for solving complex challenges, and the confidence to support customers, partners, and internal teams at every stage of the journey. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the technical authority on Schneider Electric’s protection relay portfolio across Australia Partner with sales, presales, and channel teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to our customers Provide technical support, design consultation, and compliance guidance for pre-sales and tender opportunities Lead technical training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for both internal teams and external stakeholders Interpret single-line diagrams, coordinate protection studies, and develop optimized relay settings Support solution proposals with accurate, well-documented technical material Stay current with local and international standards (IEC, ANSI, AS) and contribute to our market strategy Provide feedback to product development teams to ensure our solutions meet local market needs What We’re Looking For A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in protection systems, ideally in the Australian market Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and Australian protection standards Practical experience with Schneider Electric protection relays (or equivalent platforms) Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system design layouts Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience Ability to align technical solutions with customer needs, support value-based selling and contribute to commercial success Willingness to travel across Australia for client and site support Why join Schneider Electric?
