PRODUCT APPLICATION SPECIALIST Romulus, MI Salary | $75,000 (Base & on-target commissions for year one)     Join a Best and Brightest Company as a Product Application Specialist uncovering new business in the weighing systems industry!  This highly motivated, self-driven individual will gain an understanding of our products and services to translate into sales opportunities through trusting relationships with customers in Michigan.    We set you up for success with in-depth training, strong Sales Leadership, a company vehicle, and autonomy to design your own schedule.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Capture interest of new customers, propelling towards the utilization of GR Metrology product offerings * Shift customer interest into confirmed sales to meet GR Metrology metrics * Maintain a list of prospects throughout Michigan * Build relationships with the Service Team to qualify, quote, and facilitate successful handoffs * Provide consultation to existing customers to expand GR Metrology’s partnership as a product provider * Accurately and timely, submit all quotes, logs, development plans, and commission reports * Participate in Team Meetings and report on market trends, competitive intelligence, and impactful customer changes   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * HS Diploma or GED required * Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business or related field strongly desired * Two (2) years of professional sales experience required * Demonstrate ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with Team * Possession of driver’s license and satisfactory MVR for intrastate travel * Ability to drive, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time   EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Grand Rapids Metrology is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected classes.
