Description
Principal Accountabilities: • Demonstrates knowledge of elementary scripting, as well as writing scripting modules and tests with guidance. • Hands on SME who demonstrates skilled knowledge of systems (Linux/Windows), distributed computing architecture (client server, intranet/internet), h/w platforms and resources - CPU, memory, virtualization, clustering and cloud computing. Configures systems and modifies settings to ensure proper functioning, handling all deployments and rectifying gaps in instruction script deployment and validation, automating where possible. • Implementation and maintenance of test scripts, working with QA team to define and factor automated test suite. • Lead knowledge transfer activities for deploying new versions of applications. • Lead the team in troubleshooting both product and application issues. • Plan and manage environment changes Skills & Exp The incumbent is expected to have knowledge of in Unix/Linux environments, SCM tools and scripting knowledge.
