About this Opportunity Manage the product changes implementation in a cost-effective and time-efficient way throughout product lifecycle. The responsibility includes interfacing with the Product Engineering Unit (PEU), controlling the global change handling process (CI/CO) and exemptions. Also coordinates prototypes in New Product Introductions and Verification Assignments in prototype and maintenance phase What you will do: Coordinate and control product changes in a cost-effective and time-efficient way during both NPI/TPI and volume production (include leading & non-leading products) stages. Lead introduction and substitution of products, product documentation in accordance with PRI for implementation at ESS and EMS Plan for rapid and cost-effective global product substitution Initialize product validation (verification request) when requested in accordance with Work Order Create and communicate product substitution plans Handle exemption applications and monitor existing exemptions. Communicate approved/expiring exemptions to key stakeholders in organization Participate in NPI/TPI/GPI projects with responsibility for reporting plan and status for product and product document changes Coordinate information flow and required master data updates with LMDM Promote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation. The skills you bring: Excellent relationship-building skills Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Good understanding of production process, product engineering and IT systems Systems application knowledge (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
