Description

The Product Compliance and Regulatory Engineer will serve as an internal subject matter expert on regulatory and certification requirements, overseeing all aspects of product compliance and country-specific type approvals. This position will manage certification processes, investigate and resolve compliance issues, and maintain direct communication with customers regarding their regulatory needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that all certification efforts are executed efficiently and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· 2 years of technical support experience and management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ERP systems, Empower, and Jira is required.
· Project Management work experience.
· Highly technical problem solver who understands system architecture and hardware and software interaction.
· Experience working closely with the Sales team on pre-sales and post-sales activities.
· Ability to recognize emergencies and take proper actions to solve/escalate an issue on and off working hours.
· Positive and energetic communication skills and strong writing skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends to support certification activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage global type approval and certification processes (e.g., FCC, CE) to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
  • Verify that all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the specific requirements of regulatory authorities.
  • Validate sample units prior to submission to certification bodies.
  • Provide weekly status updates to customers regarding ongoing certification activities.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with customers, regulatory authorities, and internal engineering teams to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Ensure product labels and supporting materials are updated in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and stay current with evolving global regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, and other country-specific certifications).
