Job Description As a Product Cyber Security Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. Context You will work on securing complex engineering products across their lifecycle, focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks. The role involves producing formal risk assessment reports and collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, with exposure to aerospace standards where applicable. Location: Derby On Site: Remote Clearance: Clearable Experience Level: Mid to senior Key Responsibilities: Deliver cyber security activities within a product environment across the engineering lifecycle Produce and maintain cyber risk assessment reports Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks at product and system level Support engineering teams to ensure cyber requirements are embedded into product design Contribute to design reviews, audits, and cyber assurance activities Qualifications Required Skills: Proven experience in cyber security within a product or system engineering environment Strong experience producing risk assessment and threat analysis reports Understanding of cyber risk management frameworks and secure-by-design principles Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary engineering teams Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience. Demonstrable experience delivering cyber security activities on complex products or systems Knowledge of cyber security standards and governance frameworks Desirable Skills: Knowledge of ED-202A and ED-203A aerospace cyber security standards Experience working on aerospace or aviation engineering projects Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated engineering environments Additional Information Why join us?
