For a long-term defense project in Kassel, we are seeking a Product Cybersecurity Engineer (m/f/d) on a temporary basis. In this role, you will contribute to securing complex vehicle and subsystem architectures and support cybersecurity initiatives from risk analysis to security certification.

Job description

• Development and further development of cybersecurity concepts for vehicles and subsystems in the defense environment
• Support and management of external development partners in the creation of information security and cybersecurity certifications
• Conducting cybersecurity risk analyses in accordance with ISO 21434, including TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) and attack tree analyses.
• Development and maintenance of cybersecurity architectures and security concepts for complex vehicle systems
• Participation in the creation and maintenance of the cybersecurity case for vehicles and their subsystems

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in product cybersecurity, ideally in the automotive, defense, or embedded systems sector
• Sound knowledge of the standards and regulations: ISO 21434; UNECE R155; UNECE R156
• Experience in conducting TARA, threat and risk analyses
• Experience with IBM DOORS, medini analyze and PDM/PLM systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IT baseline protection or ISO 27001 is desirable.
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
