SmartLab is an online diagnostic and learning platform for primary and secondary schools focusing on enhancing skills across Mathematics, Numeracy, English, Literacy and Science.
We are looking for an experienced sales consultant and/or educator to provide online product demonstrations / walk throughs to prospective clients. This is a flexible role and is completely remote (work from home).
The role will involve meeting online with prospective clients to take them through a 20-30 minute demonstration of our online education platform, SmartLab. Our team of appointment setters will be locking in your meetings using a calendar system and booking you in for demonstrations subject to your availability.
You will be paid $30 per demonstration plus $50 commission if you secure a sign up following the demonstration. A sign up is when the school sends us their school lists. You may also be required to holding training sessions which is $40 per session.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Feels very confident learning a 20-30-minute scripted presentation;
2. Has sales experience and/or teaching experience;
3. Has excellent communication skills;
4. Is reliable, diligent and punctual;
5. Feels confident learning and navigating a new platform;
6. Is very charismatic and enthusiastic in their delivery;
7. Has a computer with a microphone, web camera and fast internet access;
8. Is comfortable working remotely;
9. Is available to commit to the high sale season (July to November 2025).
Please note that this role involves working ad-hoc hours between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. You may choose your availability within these hours, however demonstrations will be booked for you based on your availability. For example, if you make yourself available next Tuesday between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, you will likely be booked for many demonstrations during that time. Please also note that depending on demonstrations booked, you may have, for example, 8 demonstrations one day and 3 demonstrations another day.
