Description
The Copper Tubes Division of ElvalHalcor is searching for a results-driven Product Design & Customer Support Engineer, responsible for the design and supervision of new product development and production methods, to join our Development Department at Oinofyta, Voiotia, Greece. Role Description Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding high-performance products, including production feasibility, availability of routings and production tools, and existing codifications. Create and issue new production specifications for high-performance products and ensure adherence to these specifications. Maintain and update the Specifications Library. Manage product codifications, as well as the creation, maintenance, and updating of routings and Bills of Materials (BOM). Handle and prepare samples and trial orders. Provide customer service support (CTS) for issues related to high-performance products. Coordinate development of new products (NPD Coordinator). Design and optimize production processes for new products. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in in Mechanical Engineering or Technological orientation Excellent command / proficiency of the English language. Very good computer skills (MS Office). Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Control Systems. Good knowledge of mechanical drawing. Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is considered an asset. Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and adaptability. Strong communication skills and teamwork oriented. Results-driven, with a commitment to excellence. Attention to detail, methodical, consistent, and a high sense of responsibility.
