In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL). * Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.  * Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof‑of‑concept prototypes.  * Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling.  * Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis.  * Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoMs).  * Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.  * Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members.  * Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.   Who You Are: * A detail-oriented problem solver with a strong engineering mindset. You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.   For This Role, You Will Need: * Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge * Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).  * Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.  * Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting), etc.  * Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem‑solving methods.  * Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills. position   Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in mechanical design or equivalent * 2 - 5 years’ experience in product design   Our Culture & Commitment to You: * At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
