Description
Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security! Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeem, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named “SASE” by Gartner and a market expected to reach $25 billion by 2027. This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don’t miss it! We’re looking for a Product Design Manager who will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the design vision for our products. You’ll lead a small but growing design team (1-2 designers at first), as part of the design group, own the end-to-end design process, and partner cross-functionally to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that simplify the complexity of cybersecurity. This is a unique opportunity to help shaping the design culture, grow a team, and directly influence products used by thousands of enterprises worldwide. You Are: A creative and strategic leader who balances big-picture vision with hands-on design execution. A great storyteller, active listener, and technology enthusiast. A self-starter who pushes boundaries, asks “why” constantly, and seeks out ways to make products both more intuitive and more beautiful. Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment. A collaborator who builds trust across Product, Engineering, and Executive teams. Naturally curious, detail-oriented, and experienced in balancing long-term design goals with agile iteration. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Growth Manage, mentor, and inspire a small team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, ownership, and excellence. Build scalable design practices, including design systems, process improvements, and team rituals. Design Execution & Strategy Lead the end-to-end design process: user research, personas, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design. Facilitate usability testing, gather feedback from stakeholders/customers, and iterate rapidly. Use data and competitive analysis to optimize features and experiences. Advocate for the right balance between usability and business needs. Leverage AI tools in your design process to achieve better results, speed up workflows, and increase design efficiency. Domain Expertise Translate complex cybersecurity and networking concepts into simple, elegant experiences. Stay ahead of design and cybersecurity trends, bringing fresh insights into the product. Skills & Background: 7+ years of experience in product/UX design, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management capacity. Proven experience designing for cybersecurity products (e.g., network security, cloud security, identity management, endpoint protection, or related domains). Education in HCI, visual design, interaction design, industrial design, or related field. Strong portfolio showcasing design strategy, UX flows, interaction patterns, and visual execution. Expertise with modern design tools (Figma required; prototyping experience preferred). Strong aesthetic sense with a pulse on current UI/UX trends. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to build consensus around design decisions.
