We’re seeking an experienced manager to lead a small team within Reality Labs, focusing on cutting-edge spatial experiences across the metaverse. As a manager, you’ll lead the development of innovative technologies that blur the lines between physical and virtual worlds. Your team will push the boundaries of what’s possible in augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality, and you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of these technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design
• 4+ years of design leadership managing technical design teams in AR/VR/MR or related fields
• 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and exceeding expectations
• Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with AR/VR/MR technologies, including development platforms and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree in computer science, human-computer engineering, engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and spatial computing
• Familiarity with metaverse concepts and ecosystems

• Lead work across cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers and designers working on spatial experiences
• Develop and execute project roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and features
• Collaborate with leadership team to define strategic direction and priorities
• Foster an environment of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within your team
• Mentor and grow team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them excel in their roles
• Partner with other teams across the company to drive alignment and integration of technologies your team is working on
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AR/VR/MR, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth
• Think strategically and drive innovation in a productive environment
