Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Business Analyst with strong UI/UX design capabilities and extensive experience using modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Figma.

This role goes beyond traditional business analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering business needs, translating requirements into user-centric experiences, designing high-fidelity prototypes, preparing comprehensive specifications, and working closely with engineering teams to accelerate delivery through AI-assisted product design and development workflows.

The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, process design, user experience expertise, product ownership, and strong technical understanding to transform complex business requirements into intuitive digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering

Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis sessions.

Gather, analyze, document, and validate:

• Business requirements
• Functional requirements
• Non-functional requirements
• Business rules
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Process flows
• Use cases
• Data requirements

Translate business objectives into actionable product and technology requirements.

Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation and optimization.

Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, project teams, product owners, and engineering teams.

Drive requirement traceability from inception through deployment.

Product Design & UI/UX

Create exceptional user experiences for web, mobile, portal, and enterprise applications.

Design:

• User journeys
• Personas
• Customer experience flows
• Information architecture
• Wireframes
• Low-fidelity prototypes
• High-fidelity prototypes
• Interactive user flows

Develop pixel-perfect designs in Figma that are ready for engineering handoff.

Ensure consistency through:

• Design systems
• Component libraries
• Accessibility standards
• Responsive design principles

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to validate usability and customer experience objectives.

Champion user-centric design methodologies across projects.

AI-Assisted Product Development

Leverage AI tools to accelerate business analysis, product design, prototyping, and documentation activities.

Heavy daily usage of:

• Cursor

• Figma AI
• Microsoft Copilot
• Gemini

Develop detailed prompts and structured workflows to:

• Generate prototypes
• Produce specifications
• Draft user stories
• Create test scenarios
• Generate wireframes
• Accelerate documentation

Work closely with developers to transform AI-generated concepts into production-ready solutions.

Understand emerging AI-assisted software development methodologies and continuously improve delivery efficiency.

Figma Design & Prototyping

Develop comprehensive Figma prototypes that accurately represent production-ready applications.

Create:

• Design systems
• Component libraries
• Responsive layouts
• Interactive prototypes
• Mobile-first experiences
• Arabic and English user interfaces

Prepare developer-ready specifications including:

• Spacing
• Typography
• Component behavior
• States and interactions
• Responsive behavior
• Accessibility requirements

Maintain design consistency across multiple projects and platforms.

Functional Documentation

Produce comprehensive project documentation including:

• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
• User Story Backlogs
• Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
• User Manuals
• Process Maps
• Journey Maps
• Workflow Diagrams
• Screen Specifications
• Integration Specifications
• Test Scenarios
• UAT Scripts

Ensure documentation remains current throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain full traceability between business requirements and delivered functionality.

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Engineering Leads.

Participate in:

• Sprint planning
• Backlog grooming
• Daily standups
• Sprint reviews
• UAT sessions
• Release planning

Prioritize requirements based on business value and delivery objectives.

Support engineering teams by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.

Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and user expectations.

Process Design & Digital Transformation

Analyze existing business processes and design optimized future-state workflows.

Develop:

• As-is process maps
• To-be process maps
• Service blueprints
• Operational models
• Workflow automation opportunities

Identify opportunities for:

• AI adoption
• Process automation
• Citizen services enhancement
• Employee experience improvement
• Digital transformation initiatives

Support enterprise modernization programs across government, justice, healthcare, and regulated industries.

Stakeholder Management

Engage effectively with:

• Executive stakeholders
• Government officials
• Business users
• Product owners
• Technical teams
• Vendors
• External partners

Facilitate workshops and discussions that drive decisions and achieve consensus.

Present complex concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.

Manage stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery.

Quality Assurance & User Acceptance

Support quality assurance activities by defining:

• Acceptance criteria
• Test scenarios
• Business validation rules
• User acceptance plans

Participate in UAT execution and issue triage.

Ensure delivered solutions align with documented requirements and user expectations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Designer, or Functional Consultant.

Proven experience delivering enterprise software, digital transformation, or government technology projects.
