Eleven Eleven is a women’s apparel and lifestyle brand based in Nashville, Tennessee. We are seeking a Product Designer, Apparel to lead the creation and development of new styles from concept through production. This role is centered on design execution and product development, with direct ownership over how each piece is created, refined, and brought to market. You will translate ideas into production-ready garments, working hands-on with fabrics, fit, construction, and overseas vendors to ensure every product meets our standards. About the Role You will own the product development process end-to-end. Building tech packs, leading fittings, refining samples, and communicating directly with factories to execute designs accurately. This role requires strong design instinct, technical knowledge of garments, and the ability to manage timelines and vendor relationships without compromising product quality. Must be based in Nashville, TN or willing to relocate. ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & Development Design and develop new apparel styles aligned with the Eleven Eleven brand Create detailed tech packs including measurements, construction, materials, and trim specifications Build and revise CADs and garment flats using Adobe Illustrator Select and source fabrics, trims, and finishes appropriate for each design Translate concepts into production-ready garments with clear technical direction Fit, Construction & Sampling Lead fit sessions, evaluate samples, and make precise adjustments to fit and construction Review development samples (proto, fit, pre-production) and provide clear feedback Refine grading, specs, and construction details to ensure consistency across production Identify and resolve quality or construction issues early in the development process Vendor & Production Management Communicate directly with overseas factories on development, revisions, and timelines Manage the full sampling lifecycle from initial development through production approval Ensure factories are executing designs accurately based on tech packs and feedback Track development timelines and maintain momentum across multiple styles Product Direction & Line Development Contribute new product ideas and categories that align with the brand direction Identify opportunities to improve existing styles through fabric, fit, or construction updates Work closely with leadership to shape upcoming drops and collections Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Development, or related field 2–5+ years of experience in apparel design, technical design, or product development Strong experience creating tech packs, specs, and garment construction details Deep understanding of fit, grading, and fabric behavior Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Direct experience working with overseas factories Experience across women’s apparel categories Additional Attributes Strong eye for proportion, detail, and overall product execution Ability to translate creative direction into technically accurate garments Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple styles simultaneously Clear communicator with both internal teams and external vendors High ownership mentality over product quality and final output Portfolio Requirement Portfolio required (CADs, tech packs, or product examples demonstrating design and development work) What This Role Requires Strong balance of design vision and technical execution Direct ownership of the product from idea through production Comfort working hands-on in fittings, revisions, and factory communication Accountability for the final product—not just the concept Benefits Unlimited PTO Summer Fridays Mental Health & Sick Days Employee Discounts (40% off full-price items)
