POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a Product Designer with a strong CRO (conversion rate optimization) mindset to join our Product team. You’ll take the lead on designing high-impact user experiences across signup funnels and related conversion flows. Your work will directly impact revenue, activation, and customer retention – making you a key contributor to company growth. You will need to leverage competitive insights, user feedback, and other methods to create user-centered designs that also drive business results. Additionally, your designs must be data-driven and optimized for key metrics like conversion rates, user engagement, and other KPIs to drive our platform’s growth. If you’re passionate about user behavior, data-informed design, and crafting experiences that convert – this role is for you.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in CRO or funnel optimization roles, with a portfolio that showcases your design process, data-driven approach, and ability to optimize for KPIs like conversion rates.
  • Proven experience designing for ecommerce subscription platforms.
  • A portfolio that shows work on high-converting UX flows – particularly signup, checkout, or pricing experiences.
  • Comfort working in data-driven, fast-paced environments where iteration and testing are part of the daily workflow.
  • Experience supporting A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including usability testing, user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to bring designs to life and iterate based on technical constraints, user feedback, and data insights.
  • Empathy for end users and a deep understanding of how to design for trust, clarity, and simplicity – especially in areas involving identity, privacy, or sensitive data.
  • Experience with responsive design principles and designing for both desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions based on both user feedback and performance data.
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetics, with a strong understanding of visual design principles.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design specifications for new signup funnels, experiments, and iterations on PeopleFinders.com.
  • Continuously iterate on the signup experience, offers, pricing pages, onboarding flows, and other key conversion touchpoints - ensuring that they are intuitive, data-driven, and optimized for conversion and engagement.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, engineers, and other stakeholders to build and test A/B experiments that improve sign-up rates, trial-to-paid conversion, and subscription upgrades.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data (heatmaps, session recordings, user research, and analytics) to identify UX friction and inform design decisions for optimization.
  • Maintain a consistent and accessible UI while continuously testing layout, copy, and interaction changes.
  • Track and report on the impact of your design experiments.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, user experience best practices, and industry trends to ensure the platform remains competitive and cutting-edge.
  • Maintain consistency across the platform’s design language, ensuring cohesive branding, typography, color schemes, and overall aesthetics.
  • Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the platform by ensuring design decisions support scaling efforts and help us capture key market opportunities.
