Role Summary
At CreateFuture, a Senior Product Designer leads their team of Product Designers in the
design strategy and creation of new products. Working on client projects, you are
responsible for the overall design of the product and the management of the design
component in line with client expectations and delivery estimations.
Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders within a project team, you will
use your understanding of the Product Design Toolkit as an expert in the fundamentals of
design within a project.

Role Details

  • Leads on client Product Design working with limited guidance and supervision.
  • Supports and has management responsibility for more junior colleagues.
  • Develop strong relationships efficiently with clients, both within your craft and

beyond, allowing you to influence at a client level.

  • Leads client conversations and facilitation with key stakeholders to drive results

and contributes to discussions around the effective delivery of projects.

  • Leads any proposed changes to solve any project challenges and priorities, whilst

simultaneously working on a broad range of complex activities.

  • Advocate for user-centric design by carrying out user research within a project

context when required.

  • Works under general direction within a framework and is able to lead design

thinking with strong design principles in mind.

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to implement changes; building very strong and

effective partnerships with key stakeholders to drive results.

  • Continuously supports the business externally and shares knowledge within the

team and industry.

  • Enables groups of others to improve standards and awareness of Design best

practices.

  • Leads on resolving interpersonal conflicts across the Design function.
  • Advocates for and actively contributes towards a culture of Feedback at

CreateFuture

  • Creates a psychologically safe environment for your team that enables them to

grow at CreateFuture by supporting their development journey.

  • Champions our values and culture, being a role model for these and supporting

the continual embedding of them in everything we do.

  • Any other ad hoc related duties & projects as required.
