If you enjoy being in the middle of that shift - figuring things out as the space evolves, shipping quickly, and shaping how people actually use AI to build real products, this role is for you. Emergent is building a vibe-coding platform that helps people turn ideas into real, usable products with the help of AI. We’re design-led, product-driven, and opinionated about craft. We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape core experiences and raise the quality bar as we scale. What you’ll do Own end-to-end product design for key parts of the Emergent platform Turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences Work closely with engineers and product to ship fast, high-quality features Design flows, interactions, and UI with strong attention to detail Contribute to product thinking and not just execution Help evolve patterns and systems as the product grows What we’re looking for 4+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products Strong interaction and visual design fundamentals Comfort working on technical or complex products (you don’t need to code, but you should enjoy collaborating with engineers) Ability to operate in ambiguity and make good decisions with incomplete information Clear communication and strong product intuition High ownership mindset, you care deeply about what ships Nice to have Some hands-on experience with code, or a genuine interest in experimenting with it Experience designing AI-powered products or systems Familiarity with design systems and scaling patterns Why Emergent You’ll work on a product where design directly shapes how powerful the platform feels Small, tight-knit team with real ownership Fast feedback loops and real users A front-row seat to how AI-native products are being built
