Additional Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with SaaS products and understanding of user-centric design principles.
  • Experience with tools for producing wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Experience in creating high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and design documentation.
  • Well-versed in Agile frameworks and capable of balancing multiple deliverables concurrently.
  • Designs with accessibility in mind, creating interfaces everyone can perceive, navigate, and engage with.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (Norwegian is not a requirement).
  • Degree in Design (or a related field) or an equivalent of experience/training in a relevant industry

Not required by highly appreciated:

  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS) and ability to collaborate closely with development teams.
  • Proven ability to design for end-users in educational or similar industries is a plus.

Main responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces for our interactive content creation tool, aimed mostly at educators and learning professionals.
  • Create mockups, prototypes, and design flows to enhance the overall user experience and interaction within the platform. Work on design mockups for new features and for improving existing features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to refine design concepts and ensure seamless integration of your designs.
  • Produce designs for the company’s marketing campaigns (monthly newsletters, release notes, banners, etc.)
  • Work on visual design projects related to the SaaS side of our product.
  • Ensure consistency and high-quality standards across our interfaces.
  • Produce functional specifications for design implementations and review and evaluate design implementations

Secondary responsibilities

  • Participate in user feedback sessions and iterate on designs based on user insights and feedback.
  • Sketch and communicate findings gathered during user testing to the team by making solutions in the form of clickable prototypes
