Description

We’re looking for a Product Designer II to raise the bar of Integration experiences across the Datadog Platform. You’ll craft clear, compelling interfaces across discovery, setup, and configuration, and partner closely with engineering to land high-quality UI in code. You’ll also contribute patterns and components that teams across Datadog can adopt as we scale our 1,000+ integrations.
The ideal candidate will be a visually focused design technologist who enjoys working closely with frontend engineers, shaping reusable components and patterns, and turning legacy surfaces into cohesive, modern experiences that are easy to adopt across product teams.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

Responsibilities
  • Work with product, design and frontend partners to raise the quality of integration entry points and configuration surfaces - with crisp hierarchy, typography, and interaction polish.
  • Contribute components and patterns for an Integrations UI kit, in alignment with our Design System.
  • Prototype your ideas at multiple fidelities - from quick clickable flows to code‑adjacent POCs - to communicate intent, validate interactions and guide implementation.
  • Pair closely with engineers to land pixels in code. Review builds, navigate trade-offs, and ensure quality through to shipping
  • Improve discovery and organization for our 1,000+ integrations through better structure, categorization, and wayfinding.
  • Drive consistency in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting patterns across SaaS, Agent, and Collaboration integration categories.
