DESCRIPTION About the Role We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape the future of our Conversational AI domain. In this role, you’ll design and evolve chatbot and AI experiences across Chatlayer core, bot templates, and campaign creation, while improving how conversations are managed. You’ll also help define our next-generation bot builder with AI assistants, including LLM-powered conversational experiences and knowledge base integrations. With a fresh brand, ongoing UI modernization, and strong support from product and engineering, there’s real space to make your mark, push craft forward, and help take the product from “good enough” to genuinely great. You’ll own end-to-end design for your product area, from problem framing to production-ready work: * Drive discovery with PMs and engineers, ensuring we’re solving the right problems. * Raise the craft bar through thoughtful interactions, visuals, microcopy, and edge-case handling. * Use research and data to continuously validate assumptions and inform decisions. * Contribute to the design system to improve consistency, accessibility, and scalability. * Collaborate with a passionate team that moves fast and takes pride in what they build. REQUIREMENTS * Experience designing B2B SaaS products, ideally in self-serve or product-led environments. * Strong design craft across layout, typography, interaction, and visual systems, with a clear point of view and the skill to execute. * Comfortable owning the full design process, from discovery to delivery. * Fluent in Figma and experienced with design systems. * Outcome-driven, focused on impact, not just output. * Clear communicator and strong collaborator with PMs and engineers. * A portfolio that shows your thinking, how you frame problems, make trade-offs, and arrive at solutions. Nice to Have * Excited about AI-assisted design workflows and tools, or curious to dive in and explore them. * Hands-on experience with email platforms, messaging products, or developer tools. * Familiarity with growth mechanics such as onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention.
