Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Product Designer, you will play a critical role in developing products that are not only visually appealing and user-friendly, but also technically feasible, manufacturable, and safe. You will be responsible for creating 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and photorealistic renderings to support the transition from concept to production. This position requires close collaboration with electronics engineers and prototyping specialists to ensure designs can be built, tested, and scaled effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop consumer and industrial products from concept to production.
  • Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and BOMs for prototyping and manufacturing.
  • Develop photorealistic renderings and presentation materials for client and internal reviews.
  • Work hand-in-hand with electronics engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic components.
  • Ensure designs meet requirements for manufacturability, safety, durability, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with prototyping teams to validate designs through rapid prototyping (3D printing, machining, etc.).
  • Support the transition of products to mass production, including vendor communication and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
