Company Description Company Overview: Khazna was founded in 2019 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to specialized bank for underbanked mid-to-low-income consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia. We are consistently on the lookout for rock stars to help us solve for financial inclusion. Job Description Designing Intuitive Mobile and Portals User Interfaces: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly mobile app interfaces that align with the company's brand and enhance overall usability. User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to gain insights into user behavior and preferences, and use these insights to inform design decisions. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and ensure seamless user interactions. Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, translate them into design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of designs. Design System Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system to maintain consistency across all mobile app interfaces and facilitate efficient design workflows. User Experience Enhancement: Continuously identify opportunities for improving the user experience and collaborate with the team to implement iterative design changes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Strategy, Tech Teams and other teams to ensure seamless handover and business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. 3-5 years of proven experience in mobile app design with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered mobile app designs. Expertise in Figma. Solid understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to apply them to create intuitive and seamless app interfaces. Experience in user research and usability testing methodologies, with a strong ability to gather user feedback and translate it into actionable design improvements. Strong knowledge of mobile design best practices, trends and emerging technologies in the mobile app space. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs that align with brand guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with a proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving. Experience with Fintech or finance-related app design is a plus, but not mandatory.
