Lead and manage a small, high-performing design team, overseeing their professional development and day-to-day alignment with our product vision. Partner across Design, Product, and R&D to transform how we work together, implementing modern, AI-augmented methodologies and automation to bridge the gap between concept and code Directly own and drive major design projects as an individual contributor, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues from different teams (product, design, development, QA, and BI) Apply a comprehensive understanding of a product's lifecycle, from research and prototyping to design and usability testing Contribute as a member of the design team and promote winning ideas and decisions Requirements Ideally, we’re looking for 7+ years of B2C/SMB/B2B experience in world-class products in the global market. Preferably US. Technical mindset and strong, hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to automate the design-to-R&D pipeline. At least 2 years of experience in team leadership and/or people management A strong portfolio that effectively showcases your skills (both web and mobile) A broad understanding of usability and user experience principles (Customer-centric design mindset) Expert-level mastery of design systems and optimizing them to streamline R&D implementation. Exceptional communication skills Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and collaboration Fluent in English - verbal and written B.A. in Visual Communication, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field, as well as illustration and animation skills, are both an advantage Our Tech Stack null Why Join Workiz? Responsibilities
