PRODUCT DESIGNER – PLATFORM AND AI

• Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 DOE
• Working Policy: Flexible hybrid-working policy, with a minimum of two days a week from our Chester head office

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

• Strong experience designing complex digital products
• Proven ability to design UIs that balance usability with expressiveness, including data-rich or conversational interfaces.
• Confidence in both visual design and UX thinking
• Strong Figma and prototyping skills
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly to stakeholders.
• Systems-oriented mindset with a knack for simplifying complexity
• Experience working in cross-functional squads

ABOUT THE PRODUCT DESIGNER – PLATFORM AND AI ROLE:

We’re building the next generation of intelligent, agent-powered holiday experiences, and we’re looking for a Product Designer to help shape the interfaces that power it. In this role, you’ll lead the design of our new conversational experience UI and support improvements to internal tools that underpin our platform and service operations.
You’ll work across the full design lifecycle—from discovery to prototyping and polish—bringing a systems-thinking mindset to complex challenges and ensuring usability, clarity, and elegance in the final product.

PRODUCT DESIGNER – PLATFORM AND AI RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and evolve a new multimodal UI for our conversational experience, working closely with product managers, conversational designers, and engineers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve internal systems.
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility to design interfaces that drive both adoption and impact.
• Lead discovery activities including research synthesis, journey mappinh and usability testing.
• Develop scalable design patterns and visual systems aligned with our evolving platform strategy.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate concepts and gather feedback.
• Ensure high-quality implementation with engineering teams and actively refine the experience post-release
• Contribute to our design culture and craft standards across teams.
