The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include: Design noise control products for production from initial concept submittal to manufacturing details. Supporting the product development process, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. Utilizing 3D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDEDGE, AUTOCAD) for design and documentation. Assist production with manufacturing issues as required. Do material estimates for projects and work with Purchasing teams to order materials in advance of production schedule. Work with Application’s engineering team to come up with custom solutions as required by customer. Supporting the product development process, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position will have: B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent). 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with peers. Proficiency in 3D CAD software and MS Office applications. Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or the HVAC industry (preferred).
